3 years agoNew York Giants running back Saquon Barkley (knee) is questionable for Monday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but is expected to play, per Jordan Raanan of ESPN. Barring a setback during pregame warmups, the star running back will return to action for the first time since sustaining a low-ankle sprain in the Week 5 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. This week, the former No. 2 overall pick was a limited participant in practice and appeared fully recovered from his ankle issue. Barkley has rushed for 195 yards and two touchdowns while catching 14 passes for 130 yards and a score over five games in 2021. Backup Devontae Booker (hip) is also expected to play.
