Saquon Barkley Good To Go For Season Finale
3 years agoNew York Giants running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) was limited in practice all week and was removed from the final injury report for Week 18 against the Washington Football Team. Barkley and the entire Giants offense has had a season to forget, but they have a chance to go out on a high note in a meaningless game. The 24-year-old has averaged 3.7 yards per attempt and 46.9 rushing yards per game on 151 carries over 12 games, but he did have his first 100-yard game in last week's loss to the Chicago Bears on a season-high 21 carries. It's not a certainty that Barkley sees a full workload in the final game of the year, but the Giants figure to run the ball often with Jake Fromm at quarterback. Barkley will once again be more of a low-end RB2 in this terrible offense.
