6 years agoNew York Giants running back Saquon Barkley will make his NFL debut this Sunday but could be in line for a rude awakening. The first round pick has been battling a hamstring injury during the preseason but that is nothing compared to battling the Jacksonville Jaguars defense. The new-look Giants offense will be tested early against a Jaguars run defense that allowed only seven rushing touchdowns in 2017 and gave up the 11th fewest fantasy points overall to opposing runners. Barkley has the talent to become a transcendent offensive player in the NFL but his first game may feature some bumps in the road. Barkley absolutely needs to be in all fantasy lineups for Week 1 but expectations need to be tempered out of the gate.--Joey C - RotoBaller
