3 years agoNew York Giants running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) was limited in practice on Thursday and the Giants have seen good things from him coming out of their bye week. The superstar was originally thought to be on track for a quick return, but his ankle's swelling has taken longer than expected to heal. Now, however, the 24-year-old seems to be on track to play Monday night against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In addition to concerns regarding his injury limiting him if he does play in Week 11, the Buccaneers are a notoriously difficult defense to run against, so it may be best to bench Barkley in shallow leagues in favor of comparable alternatives. With that said, Barkley is so talented that in standard leagues he will be an RB2 and should be started.--Jordan Eisen
