4 years agoNew York Giants running back Saquon Barkley may receive a record-setting deal sometime next summer, according to Dan Duggan of The Athletic. The third-year back regressed in 2019 after producing 1,307 rushing yards, 721 receiving yards, and 15 total touchdowns during his rookie campaign and also missed three games due to a high ankle sprain. With Christian McCaffrey recently receiving a record extension worth $64 million over four years, Barkley could be in line to surpass that mark as long as he can remain healthy and productive.
