Saquon Barkley Primed For Busy Workload In Week 1
2 years agoNew York Giants running back Saquon Barkley is set to begin the 2022 season with a road contest against the Tennessee Titans. The electric running back missed a decent portion of the 2021 season with a sprained ankle and injuries have limited his production in each of the last two seasons. However, the former No. 2 overall pick is fully healthy entering the 2022 campaign and is being inserted into a new offensive scheme under Brian Daboll. With Barkley fully recovered from his previous injuries, we could get a special season from the Penn State product this year. Following his shortened seasons in 2020 and 2021, Barkley should see a massive workload in Week 1 versus the Titans, putting him in RB1 territory to begin the season.
