3 years agoJordan Raanan of ESPN reports that New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley (knee) is expected to be activated from the Physically Unable to Perform List and begin practicing this week. This is excellent news for Barkley and his fantasy managers as the former second overall pick has "made a lot of strides" in his recovery from knee surgery. "Barkley has looked good working on the side field with trainers at camp coming off an ACL tear," per Raanan. It was reported last week that the 24-year-old would "likely" be back by Week 3 as the Giants continue to take the "long-term approach" with their franchise back. Barkley is expected to practice this week and has not been ruled out for Week 1. Stay tuned.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
