Saquon Barkley - Week 17 Outlook for Fantasy Football
3 years agoNew York Giants running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears. He was limited in practice this week, but the Giants do not plan to shut their star running back down besides being out of the NFL playoff picture. The 24-year-old hasn't topped 70 rushing yards over 11 games this season. Chicago's defense allows 120 yards per game on the ground and ranks 23rd against fantasy backs this season. New York's offense has been brutal, mustering 16 points over his last two games. Giants backup quarterbacks Jake Fromm and Mike Glennon are expected to rotate in Sunday's game, limiting Barkley's upside for Week 17. Fantasy managers should be rolling Barkley out there as a low-end RB2 for their fantasy championships.
