6 years agoUpdating a previous report, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon will be absent at the start of training camp. With a player with a past as checkered as Gordon's, suspicions immediately arose that he may have been suspended by the NFL again. ESPN's Adam Schefter, however, put some of those concerns to rest. Schefter tweeted, "Browns’ WR Josh Gordon did not have any slip ups or failed tests, per sources. His leave is a pro-active, defensive gesture to get extra counseling to try to ensure he does not have any of the setbacks that have marked his past." For now it appears there is nothing to be concerned about regarding Gordon's availability for the upcoming season.--Matt T - RotoBaller
