Scooter Gennett Leaves Game With Injury
5 years agoCincinnati Reds second baseman Scooter Gennett was forced from Wednesday's game in the fourth inning with left groin tightness. He dove for a ball in the defensive half of the second inning which could have been the cause for the injury. Gennett has missed all but five games this season with a right groin tear, so it's not encouraging news, although they've yet to announce the severity. It would be a frustrating loss for all fantasy owners who have stashed him since spring training if he were to end up back on the injured list. Stay tuned for more information as the Reds will likely announce more on Gennett's status post-game.
