5 years agoCincinnati Reds second baseman Scooter Gennett was forced from Wednesday's game in the fourth inning with left groin tightness. He dove for a ball in the defensive half of the second inning which could have been the cause for the injury. Gennett has missed all but five games this season with a right groin tear, so it's not encouraging news, although they've yet to announce the severity. It would be a frustrating loss for all fantasy owners who have stashed him since spring training if he were to end up back on the injured list.
