Scooter Gennett Picks Up Three Hits Tuesday
6 years agoCincinnati Reds second baseman Scooter Gennett turned in a solid game against the New York Mets on Tuesday, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. Even though all three hits were singles, Gennett's fantasy owners will take the production as he has tailed off a bit of late, hitting just .267 over the past 30 days. Overall, Gennett has been productive long enough for the Reds that his fantasy owners shouldn't be too concerned about his lack of production. The second baseman is hitting .314 with 17 homers, 67 runs, 68 RBI, and three steals in 2018, which earned him his first career All-Star berth. Gennett will look to keep it going on Wednesday against Mets ace Jacob deGrom.
