5 years agoCincinnati Reds second baseman Scooter Gennett (groin) was 2-for-4 with a double during his first rehab game with Triple-A Louisville on Monday. Gennett has missed the entire season so far with a severe groin strain that he suffered during spring training. The 29-year-old is now inching closer to the Reds' lineup, with a possible return coming as early as Friday. Gennett smacked 23 home runs and 92 RBI last season.
