2 years agoKansas City Royals reliever Scott Barlow picked up a four-out save on Thursday, closing out his team's 7-5 win over the Orioles. He came into the game with two runners on in the eighth and promptly allowed a run to score on a Cedric Mullins double before walking the next batter he faced. He managed to escape that bases-loaded jam without allowing any more damage as he went on to toss a scoreless ninth for his sixth save of the campaign. The right-hander has put up strong ratios with a 1.78 ERA and 1.18 WHIP with 23 K through 25 1/3 IP, but he's only seen seven save chances so far in 2022.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
