3 years agoKansas City Royals relief pitcher Scott Barlow picked up his second save of the season in Sunday's Game 1 6-4 win over the Orioles. Barlow entered the game to pitch the ninth inning with a two-run lead. He got the first two outs on a flyout and a strikeout, then allowed back-to-back singles, but got the final out on a flyout. The Royals have used four relievers in save situations this season, but Barlow saw the majority of save opportunities at the end of last season and has now converted two of three save opportunities with a 1.46 ERA, 12 strikeouts, and four walks over 12 1/3 innings pitched. He still appears to be the Royals' bullpen arm to roster for fantasy managers at this time.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
