6 years agoCarolina Hurricanes goaltender Scott Darling will take on the New York Islanders on Saturday night. Darling allowed four goals on 24 shots in his last appearance against the Columbus Blue Jackets on November 17. He has been relegated to a backup role with the emergence of Curtis McElhinney. Darling has a 2-3-1 record to go along with a 2.99 goals-against average and .903 save percentage. The Hurricanes are playing well, having won three straight games. They make Darling a mid-tier fantasy goalie play for Saturday's slate.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
