Scott Kazmir Makes First Start In Five Years Saturday
4 years agoSan Francisco Giants pitcher Scott Kazmir made his first big league start in five years in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Dodgers. Kazmir took the loss but pitched well, allowing one run on two hits (including a solo home run) and no walks with two strikeouts over four innings. Kazmir said about his start, "I'm just on cloud nine right now. To be able to be here right now, it seems like a dream.". It is unknown when the 37-year-old may make his next appearance for the Giants, but the team is dealing with various rotation injuries, so Kazmir could have the opportunity to take another turn in the rotation.
