4 years agoThe Philadelphia Phillies placed third baseman Scott Kingery and relief pitchers Hector Neris, Tommy Hunter and Ranger Suarez on the 10-day injured list on Thursday. The team did not offer a reason, but it's possible they were among the eight players that tested positive for COVID-19 last week. The team cannot disclose if players test positive, but if that is the case, all four have a good chance of being ready to go when the season is scheduled to begin on July 23. If there is an injury, Neris and Kingery are the only two worth drafting, so their situations should be monitored by fantasy managers. If Kingery were to miss time, top prospect Alec Bohm could see some time at third base, with Adam Morgan or Nick Pivetta likely in line for save opportunities if Neris isn't ready for the start of the season.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
