Scott Kingery Continues To Struggle
4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies utilityman Scott Kingery's rough start to the season continued with an 0-for-3 effort in a loss to the Red Sox Wednesday. Kingery is now just 6-for-55 to start the season and he is yet to record an extra-base hit. The former top-prospect is rapidly losing fantasy value as he was bumped from second base to the outfield when the team called up Alec Bohm, and the Phillies already have a crowded outfield. Kingery has been starting for now but was already batting near the bottom of the lineup and it's fair to wonder how much the Phillies can put up with his .142 wOBA. Kingery is droppable in all but the deepest fantasy formats.
