Scott Kingery Staying Hot

5 years agoPhiladephia Phillies utilityman Scott Kingery has been swinging a hot bat with everyday playing time. He's hit .286 with four homers over the last two weeks in 49 at-bats. He is an intriguing add, as he was once a top prospect but faltered in his first season in 2018. With the Phillies loaded lineup and eligibility at third, shortstop, and outfield, he should be able to help a lot of fantasy lineups who need an upside bat and positional flexibility. He's hitting around seventh in the Phillies lineup but could get another shot near the top if Cesar Hernandez doesn't pick his play back up. If Kingery gets going on the basepaths he'll be jumping off the waiver soon so grab him before that happens.--Zach Alexander
