7 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Scott Schebler (elbow) is making progress in his return from an ulnar ligament contusion in his right elbow. Schebler was hit on the funny bone in a game almost two weeks ago and landed on the disabled list after losing feeling in his right pinky and ring fingers. Schebler was in a good mood before Friday's game, telling reporters, "It's pretty exciting stuff to feel your fingers again. You take that for granted. I went through throwing and went through hitting today. It was really good." Schebler is eligible to be reinstated from the disabled list on Tuesday although he may serve a short rehab assignment to get his timing back.--Matt T - RotoBaller
