Scotty Miller Not A Lock To Make The Roster
2 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Scotty Miller, who had 84 total receiving yards last year, including the playoffs, isn't a lock to make the team's 53-man roster out of training camp given how deep the team is at the position. There's a chance he's cut and signs elsewhere, he could be traded before roster cutdowns, or he could stick with Tampa as the No. 4 receiver. Miller can also contribute on special teams, but he'll be competing with Jaelon Darden and rookie Deven Thompkins this summer. The 24-year-old had over 500 yards in 2020, but he was on Injured Reserve for most of last year and caught just five passes. He'll have a better chance of making the roster if Chris Godwin (knee) isn't ready for the start of the season.
