Seahawks Have No Plans To Trade Russell Wilson
3 years agoThe Seattle Seahawks have given no indications that they are willing to trade quarterback Russell Wilson this offseason. Wilson himself said he expects to be in Seattle in 2022 and going forward as well. Wilson and head coach Pete Carroll's relationship is as good as it has been, and the two have been talking for months. Quarterback-needy teams will certainly reach out to the Seahawks to gauge their interest, but it's certainly going to take a lot to pry Wilson away from Seattle this offseason. The 33-year-old has two years remaining on his current contract after throwing for a career-low 3,113 yards, 25 touchdowns and six interceptions in 14 games. Wilson missed four games due to a torn ligament in one of his fingers, and he just wasn't quite the same when he returned in the second half of the season.
