Seahawks Want Chris Carson Involved In Passing Game
5 years agoSeattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer is looking to get running back Chris Carson more involved in the passing game. "We need to get him more involved in the passing game," Schottenheimer said. "He's got unbelievable hands, and he's a problem for people coming out of the backfield." Carson also noted that the OC is moving the backs around in the offense, including splitting them out wide. He remains a legit RB2 in most leagues, and those in PPR formats would welcome more work in the pass game obviously. Rashaad Penny is a threat to Carson's fantasy value, however, and that's a battle to watch in the preseason heading into the regular season.
