7 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Sean Manaea provided quite an encore for his recent no-hitter against the Red Sox. On Friday, Manaea pitched seven innings with seven strikeouts in an 8-1 win over the Astros. He also only allowed four hits, one walk, and an unearned run. Manaea set an Athletics record by pitching 14 consecutive hitless innings. With another elite performance, Manaea lowered his ERA to an AL-best 1.03.
