5 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Sean Manaea (shoulder) threw a 15-pitch live bullpen session Tuesday during his minor-league rehab stint with Class A Stockton (Calif.), and manager Bob Melvin said the pitcher made it through just fine. Manaea is scheduled to ramp up the pitch count in his next session. There is still no official timetable on when Manaea will return to the big club, or even when he'll work in rehab games at this point. However, he was expected to be sidelined until at least after the All-Star break, so he is only stashing away in deeper fantasy leagues with ample roster space.--Daniel Dobish
