4 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Sean Manaea fired seven innings of shutout ball against the Twins to earn a complete game in Tuesday's doubleheader. Manaea allowed six hits and a walk, but used seven strikeouts to keep Minnesota off the scoreboard in its first game since Friday due to COVID protocols. The left-hander got hit hard in his first start, but has made three consecutive starts of at least six innings with only three total runs allowed. Manaea will look to keep the good times rolling in his next start at Tampa Bay.
