5 years agoOakland Athletics starter Sean Manaea allowed one run on two hits across seven innings of work during Sunday's 3-1 win over the Detroit Tigers. He struck out 10 batters while walking two. The 27-year-old has been fantastic since returning from the injured list on September 1. Through two starts he owns a 0.75 ERA, 0.67 WHIP, and 15/5 K/BB rate. Manaea looks no worse for wear after missing so much time recovering from shoulder surgery. He is worthy of ownership in all formats going into his next projected start against the Texas Rangers.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
