6 years agoCalgary Flames center Sean Monahan produced a goal and an assist in the first Battle of Alberta of 2018-19 on Saturday, which ended with a 4-2 victory. He scored the team's second goal early in the third period and helped Elias Lindholm register the game-winner later on. Monahan has been clutch for the Flames this season, scoring seven of his 10 goals in the third period. He's been a bit off form lately, producing points in only two of the last five games, but he still shares the team lead with 21 points for the season.
