3 years agoOakland Athletics catcher Sean Murphy went 2-for-5 with an RBI double in a win over the Mariners on Thursday. Murphy is batting a measly .217 this season, but has contributed in the RBI department with 45 on the season which ranks second among catchers. Murphy is making hard contact 35.8 percent of the time and his .254 BABIP is the lowest of his career, so he could raise his BA a little down the stretch which would make him a valuable catcher at fantasy baseball's weakest position.
