3 years agoOakland Athletics catcher Sean Murphy went 3-for-5 with three runs scored in a win over the Red Sox on Saturday. Murphy also walked in the contest to raise his on-base percentage to .321 which ranks 10th among catchers with at least 200 plate appearances. His 40 RBI rank second among all catchers and he seems to be over his early-season strikeout issues as his June strikeout rate was at a much more manageable 22 percent. Murphy is a start-worthy catcher in all fantasy formats, though he'll likely be on the bench Sunday with the A's playing a day game after a night game on Saturday.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
