4 years agoOakland Athletics catcher Sean Murphy (wrist) is not in Sunday's lineup against the Astros. Manager Bob Melvin said that Murphy needs another day as he continues to deal with a sore right wrist. The 26-year-old backstop took batting practice but didn't feel 100 percent while taking his swings- so the Athletics will give him another day off as a precautionary measure. The team believes Murphy needs one more day, meaning fantasy managers should expect him back for Monday's game against the Dodgers. Aramis Garcia will be behind the plate for Oakland on Sunday.--Tim Capurso
