5 years agoAtlanta Braves pitcher Sean Newcomb (concussion) is set to be activated off of the seven-day injury list ahead of Tuesday's game against the Chicago Cubs. He tallied five strikeouts across two scoreless innings in a rehab appearance with Triple-A Gwinnett on Saturday. The 26-year-old will go back into the Braves' bullpen where he has recorded a 2.38 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, and six holds this season. Newcomb's fantasy value would increase with a move back into the starting rotation. As long as he remains a reliever, he only has value in leagues that track holds.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
