6 years agoThe Seattle Mariners are reportedly showing interest in New York Mets second baseman Asdrubal Cabrera. Cabrera has hit .282 with 17 home runs, 53 RBI and 46 runs scored over 93 games in 2018. With Robinson Cano ineligible for the playoffs due to his PED suspension, the Mariners are looking for a second basemen for their postseason run. Cabrera has performed well in 2018 and would receive a fantasy boost playing in a strong Mariners offense. After trading Jeurys Familia, it appears as if the Mets will be sellers at the deadline and Cabrera could be the next to go.--Dan Fappiano
