Seattle Optimistic Jamal Adams Will Suit Up Next Week
4 years agoSeattle Seahawks safety Jamal Adams (shoulder) departed Sunday's win over San Francisco late in the contest with a shoulder injury, but head coach Pete Carroll is optimistic that the Pro Bowler will be cleared in time to face the Rams. When healthy, Adams' first year in Seattle has been a resounding success, having set a single-season high for safeties with 9.5 sacks. Should he be unable to suit up, the Seahawks would likely rely upon Ryan Neal to try and fill in for Adams. The Seahawks Defense has been on the upswing to close out 2020 and should carry some DFS appeal against Los Angeles, particularly if Adams is on the floor and/or Rams quarterback Jared Goff (thumb) is unavailable.
