Seattle Plans To Activate Rashaad Penny For Sunday’s Game
4 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Rashaad Penny (knee) is on track to make his season debut Sunday against Washington, with the team planning to activate him prior to kickoff. Penny has been sidelined all year while rehabbing a torn ACL, but he should immediately enter the rotation out of the backfield. Chris Carson has seen a consistent workload as the Seahawks' top back, so Penny's activation likely hurts the fantasy intrigue of Carlos Hyde and DeeJay Dallas the most. After multiple weeks earlier in the year with very few running back options, Seattle has suddenly found itself with a plethora of options, which could mean a division of labor down the stretch. Penny is not yet worth an add in season-long formats, but it's worth monitoring his workload as he could be a solid single-game DFS contributor at some point in 2020.
