6 years agoColorado Avalanche goaltender Semyon Varlamov allowed three goals on 44 shots in Friday's 5-3 road victory against the Chicago Blackhawks. He improved to 17-15-8 with a 2.79 goals-against average and .911 save percentage. The 30-year-old backstop has rattled off three consecutive victories, allowing a total of four shots on 111 shots. It's his longest winning streak since he ripped off five straight wins from Nov. 11-27. Next up is a home battle against the Florida Panthers on Monday.--Daniel Dobish
