2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies pitcher Seranthony Dominguez threw a perfect inning to earn the save in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Padres. He entered Saturday's game to protect a two-run lead. The right-hander threw a scoreless inning to earn his second save of the season. Dominguez is 2-for-3 in save chances with a 1.63 ERA, 0.83 WHIP, and a 35:7 K: BB across 27 2/3 innings in 2022. The Phillies continue to rotate save opportunities with Brad Hand and Dominguez now that Corey Knebel was removed from the closer role.
