Seranthony Dominguez Suffers Setback
5 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies relief pitcher Seranthony Dominguez (elbow) suffered a setback in his recovery and will be shut down for further evaluation. Dominguez missed four months with an elbow strain last season, and this setback could mean he won't be ready for Opening Day, with the possibility his absence lasts much longer. The hard-throwing righty entered last season as a possible saves source after putting up a 2.95 ERA with 11.5 K/9 in 2018, but he can't seem to get healthy. The Phillies have an off day Wednesday and should provide an update on Dominguez later in the week. For now, Dominguez should not be drafted in redraft leagues. Dynasty owners can hold him until the team provides an update, but he won't have much value if he misses significant time again this season.
