Sergio Romo Suffers Blown Save Sunday Versus Angels
3 years agoOakland Athletics relief pitcher Sergio Romo took his fourth blown save of the season Sunday versus the Angels as the A's bullpen continues to limp to the finish line. To be fair, this one wasn't all on Romo as his defense let him down and one of his two runs was unearned. Still, he retired just one of the four batters he faced before being lifted for Lou Trivino. Romo has earned three saves recently for the A's, but the bullpen has been a mess as Andrew Chafin is also been in the mix, as well as Trivino who was the closer for most of the season. Chafin has been the best reliever and was unavailable in this game so he is the best A's reliever to roster in fantasy for those chasing saves.
