3 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder/first baseman Seth Beer (shoulder) will undergo left shoulder surgery on Thursday, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reported Tuesday. The 25-year-old rookie dislocated his shoulder in the first inning of last Tuesday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. It is a disappointing turn of events for Beer, who hit a whopping .444/.500/.889 with one home run, three RBI, and four runs scored on four hits through just nine MLB at-bats. Provided the surgery is successful, fantasy managers should keep him in mind for next season.--Chelena Goldman
