3 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Seth Brown went 1-for-3 with a solo homer in a win over Texas on Sunday. The blast was Brown's 13th of the season as he's been a solid power bat off the bench for the A's. With Ramon Laureano (suspension) out for the season, Brown should see more playing time in left field, but he doesn't offer much for fantasy. Brown is batting just .201 with a .278 on-base percentage and those numbers aren't likely to improve with his 27.3 percent strikeout rate. He's a solid DFS option when in the lineup as he's always capable of hitting a homer, but redraft managers should leave Brown on waivers.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
