Seth Brown Collects Three Hits In Wild Win Over Twins
4 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Seth Brown went 3-for-4 with a home run, a walk, two RBI and two runs scored in a 13-12 win over the Twins in 10 innings on Wednesday. Brown has been heating up lately with six hits in his last three games and has been the team's primary starter in right field. The 28-year-old mashed in his last full season in the minor leagues posting a .297 batting average, 37 homers, 101 runs, and 104 RBI. Take those numbers with a grain of salt as they were posted in the notoriously hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League, but Brown has been hitting the ball well in the early going this season with a 50 percent hard-hit rate and a strong .528 xwOBA on contact. Brown is a solid start for fantasy managers this weekend with a series at Baltimore on the schedule.
