Seth Brown Hits Two-Run Shot
2 years agoOakland Athletics first baseman Seth Brown led the way offensively to a 5-4 win over the Texas Rangers Friday, going 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, his 12th long ball of the season. While Brown has not been particularly impressive with a .702 OPS in 314 plate appearances this season, he has added seven stolen bases to those 12 home runs, giving him some value as a compiler in deep fantasy formats. His last stolen base came on June 23 though, so it's possible he won't improve much on his current total.
