3 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Seth Brown started the season hot, but has cooled off in May as he put up a .183 batting average for the month. Brown has struggled mightily away from Oakland; he's batting just .113 in road games this season compared to .279 at home. Perhaps a road series in Colorado can cure what ails Brown. Coors Field is famously the best park for hitters and the A's begin a three-game set there on Friday. Brown is hitting the ball hard this year as he's got a strong 13.9 percent barrel rate and a 17.9-degree launch angle. Despite this, he's suffering from a .211 BABIP.
