Seung Hwan Oh Notches Save For Toronto On Monday
6 years agoToronto Blue Jays reliever Seung Hwan Oh got the call in the ninth inning for the Blue Jays on Monday against the Houston Astros, but for owners of normal closer Ryan Tepera, you don’t need to worry, as this seems to be a one-time deal. Tepera got a rest on Monday after blowing a save on Sunday, but he had thrown 33 pitches over the last two days and needed a breather. For what it’s worth, Oh allowed a single and a walk with two strikeouts while picking up the save, but there’s absolutely no reason to run out and own him unless you’re in a holds league. Tepera is still the guy in Toronto, and it would be surprising if that wasn’t the case by the time Roberto Osuna gets back in late August.
