3 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Shane Baz allowed three earned runs on six hits and one walk while striking out two over 2 1/3 innings in Game 2 of the American League Division Series 14-6 loss to the Boston Red Sox. He did not factor into the decision. The Rays rookie phenom was removed from Friday's game after 47 pitches. He yielded three earned runs on six hits in the third inning, including a solo blast to Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts. Baz was impressive in a brief stint in the majors, owning a 2.03 ERA, 0.68 WHIP, and 18 :3 K: BB over 13 1/3 innings. The 22-year-old will look for better results in his next time out on the mound.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
