3 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Shane Baz (2-0) allowed three hits and one walk while striking out nine batters over 5 2/3 scoreless innings during Sunday's 3-2 victory over the Miami Marlins. He picked up his second win of the season. The 22-year-old threw 82 pitches, firing 52 for strikes. He cruised through 5 2/3 innings and didn't let the Marlins get into scoring position until the sixth frame. Baz owns a terrific 1.69 ERA, 0.56 WHIP, and a 14:1 K: BB over his first two MLB appearances. Fantasy managers can start Baz in his final start against the New York Yankees on Saturday.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
