2 years agoTampa Bay Rays starter Shane Baz turned in a quality outing on Tuesday against the Milwaukee Brewers. The right-hander pitched 5.2 innings and allowed just three hits, a pair of walks, and an earned run. He also struck out six batters while throwing 95 pitches. Baz registered 15 swinging strikes on the day and finished with a 31% CSW rate. Moving forward, the starting pitcher's next outing will likely come during Tampa Bay's upcoming five-game series in Toronto against the Blue Jays. For the season, the 23-year-old has pitched to a 3.38 ERA, a 3.56 FIP, 21 strikeouts, and seven walks in 18.2 innings of work.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
