4 years agoCleveland Indians starter Shane Bieber is the current betting favorite to take home the American League Cy Young Award. Bieber leads the entire MLB with eight wins across his 11 appearances. He also leads baseball with a 1.74 ERA, 112 strikeouts, 13.9 K/9, and 10 quality starts. While Kenta Maeda and Lance Lynn have also enjoyed stellar seasons, Bieber seems to be in a class of his own in the AL. He will likely wrap up his regular season on Tuesday against the Chicago White Sox, who he owns a 2-2 record against in his career.
