4 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Shane Bieber tossed four scoreless innings against the Rangers on Sunday afternoon, allowing two hits and two walks while striking out six. After a rough start his last time out in which he allowed nine runs — eight unearned — on seven hits, two walks and a hit by pitch, it was good to see Bieber looking back to his normal self against Texas. Managers should keep an eye on Bieber going forward though, as he has been inconsistent in Spring Training with good starts against the Padres and Rangers, and poor outings against the Angels and Royals. His inconsistency this spring could be a boon to some managers, as it could lead to Bieber falling in some drafts from the first round to the second.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
